A strong future for
IDAHO FAMILIES
Born and raised in southeastern Idaho, Kim Jackman has spent her life rooted in the rural communities and agricultural traditions that shape District 28. She and her husband of 31 years raised three children here and recently welcomed their first grandbaby—her daily reminder of why strong schools, strong families, and strong communities matter.
Common sense
I will ensure that policy decisions reflect the real needs of the people who live and work in Southeastern Idaho. My focus is simple: practical solutions, respectful leadership, and a Legislature that listens to the people it serves.
Balance
I’m running to stop the villainization of social issues, restore balance, and ensure that every Idahoan—regardless of background or belief—has a voice in the decisions that shape our future.
Education
I will fight for a school system that works for all children—one that empowers teachers, engages parents, and ensures every student has the opportunity to succeed. Families deserve meaningful choices, not manufactured divisions.
Strengthening families
I will strengthen families by championing policies that make housing, healthcare, and childcare more affordable, while ensuring our public systems work together to support children from birth through adulthood.
Affordability
I will advance common‑sense solutions that ease financial pressure on working families and strengthen the economic stability of every community in District 28.
Support for agriculture
I will support agriculture by promoting policies that protect our water, strengthen our rural economy, and ensure farmers and ranchers have the stability they need to keep District 28 thriving.
